A dharna was held in front of BJP office

A dharna was held in front of BJP office today against the Central government's anti-people laws including four labor codes, abolishing MNREGA and bringing a new law, Electricity Amendment Bill, Seed Bill and India-US Trade Agreement. Similarly, dharnas were held across Punjab today in front of the residences of ministers against the anti-people policies of Aam Aadmi Party . Today's dharna was held by SKM, trade unions and public democratic organizations. Addressing the dharna, the speakers said that the Modi government at the center is pro-corporate and anti-people. All the laws being brought are being brought to please the big rich and the blood of the working people is being squeezed. The India-US Agreement has shaken the soul of the country.  The speakers included Dr. Rajinder Pal Singh Aulakh, Raghbir Singh Benipal, Jamir Hussain, Avtar Singh, Lakhwinder Singh, Ajit Singh Dhandra, D P Maur, Naresh Gaur, Sukhwinder Singh Lotey, Kewal Singh Banwait, Avtar Singh Mehlo, Sarabjit Singh Sarhali, Gurpreet Singh Waraich, Jagdish Chand, Harjinder Singh, Ravinder Kaur, Jaswant Jirakh, Maninder Singh Bhatia, Jagdeep Singh, Harjinder Kaur, Gurpreet Singh Mehdoodan and Charan Singh Nurpura. The presidium included Amarnath Kum Kalan, Paramjit Singh, Vijay Kumar, Devraj, Lakhwinder Singh, Jasvir Jhajj, Jaspreet Singh, Ranveer Singh Rurka and Gurjit Singh Jagpal.

The stage proceedings were well handled by Harnek Singh Gujjarwal and young farmer leader Manu Buani. 

The organizations that participated included AITUC, INTUC, CITU, CTU Punjab, Karkhana Mazdoor Union, Molder and Steel Workers Union, Jamhoori Kisan Sabha, Kul Hind Kisan Sabha 1936, T S U, Powercom Contract Employees Union, Pensioners Union, jamboori adhikar sabha  , BKU Lakhowal, BKU Ugrahan, Verka Outsource Employees Union, BKU Dakounda (Dhanner).
