The Punjab State Committee of the Revolutionary Marxist Party of India (RMPI) will hold a massive state-level rally at the Rally Ground in Sector 25, Chandigarh on February 26. The rally, which is being held against the anti-Punjab conspiracies of the RSS-BJP and the discrimination being done by the Modi government against Punjab and to find a permanent solution to the inter-state issues related to Punjab that have been pending for decades, will be addressed by the party's General Secretary Comrade Mangat Ram Pasla and other central and state leaders.

In this regard, the Secretary of the State Committee, Pargat Singh Jamarai, has said that during the rally, a strong voice will also be raised against the violation of state rights and civil liberties by the central rulers. Other speakers on this occasion: Pargat Singh Jamarai, Kulwant Singh Sandhu, Sajjan Singh Mohali, Darshan Nahar, Dharminder Singh Mukerian and other leaders will also be present.

He said that the Bhagwant Mann government of Punjab has proven to be a real failure on the front of law and order and the people of the state are feeling insecure. Jamarai has further said that tremendous preparations have been made in all the districts for the success of the rally.

He has appealed to all Punjabis to reach the said rally with their families, setting aside the differences of religion, caste, language, etc., to keep the flag of Punjab and Punjabihood high.

A dharna was held in front of BJP office today against the Central government's anti-people laws including four labor codes, abolishing MNREGA and bringing a new law, Electricity Amendment Bill, Seed Bill and India-US Trade Agreement. Similarly, dharnas were held across Punjab today in front of the residences of ministers against the anti-people policies of Aam Aadmi Party . Today's dharna was held by SKM, trade unions and public democratic organizations. Addressing the dharna, the speakers said that the Modi government at the center is pro-corporate and anti-people. All the laws being brought are being brought to please the big rich and the blood of the working people is being squeezed. The India-US Agreement has shaken the soul of the country.  The speakers included Dr. Rajinder Pal Singh Aulakh, Raghbir Singh Benipal, Jamir Hussain, Avtar Singh, Lakhwinder Singh, Ajit Singh Dhandra, D P Maur, Naresh Gaur, Sukhwinder Singh Lotey, Kewal Singh Banwait, Avtar Singh Mehlo, Sarabjit Singh Sarhali, Gurpreet Singh Waraich, Jagdish Chand, Harjinder Singh, Ravinder Kaur, Jaswant Jirakh, Maninder Singh Bhatia, Jagdeep Singh, Harjinder Kaur, Gurpreet Singh Mehdoodan and Charan Singh Nurpura. The presidium included Amarnath Kum Kalan, Paramjit Singh, Vijay Kumar, Devraj, Lakhwinder Singh, Jasvir Jhajj, Jaspreet Singh, Ranveer Singh Rurka and Gurjit Singh Jagpal.

The stage proceedings were well handled by Harnek Singh Gujjarwal and young farmer leader Manu Buani.
