The centenary concluding ceremony of the Communist Party of India was held at the Railway Institute Auditorium, Dadar Central. The ceremony was presided over by Comrade Milind Ranade, Secretary of the Communist Party of India.  Dr. Bhalchandra Kango, National Secretary of the Communist Party of India, New Delhi, Comrade Charu Joshi, Comrade Prakash Reddy, Comrade Sukumar Damle, and other leaders were present on the dais as chief guests. Hundreds of comrades from Mumbai attended the program. Many prominent leaders from the labor sector were also present at the event.

A grand procession, accompanied by the sound of drums and cymbals, and with hundreds of comrades chanting "Lal Salaam" (Red Salute), arrived at the venue from the Dadar Shramik office. The comrades in the procession were welcomed with revolutionary songs. The dignitaries on the dais were welcomed with large garlands. Comrade Babli Rawat, in her introductory speech, highlighted glimpses of the hundred-year history of the Communist Party of India. The heirs of Comrade Krishna Desai, the first MLA of the Communist Party in Mumbai and a martyr for the party, Comrade Govind Pansare, and Comrade Vijayan were felicitated with mementos.

On this occasion, Comrade Bhalchandra Kango delivered the inaugural address. He shed light on the pages of the history of the Communist Party of India.
